• U.S. government shuts down reproductiverights.gov within the first week of the second Trump Administration

  • the website, launched in 2022, detailed information on accessing abortions and birth control

  • the website was taken offline within the first 24 hours post-inauguration

• Virginia enshrines abortion in its state constitution

• Amongst censorship on the content of abortion pill providers on Instagram, Meta confirmed they suppressed abortion related content

  • Abortion-related accounts were blurred, blocked, or had posts removed. Some accounts were suspended and were blocked from appearing in search and recommendations.

  • Accounts named as impacted included AidAccess, Women Help Women, Just The Pill, and Hey Jane.
